ROUND ROCK, Texas — Robert Donald “Donnie” Edmondson, 75, of Round Rock, Texas, passed away Sunday, September 20, 2009. He was born March 3, 1934, in Kuttawa, Kentucky, to Henry and Eoma Edmondson.

Mr. Edmondson served proudly in the United States Navy from 1952 until 1956 and will be remembered for his loyal patriotism. He retired from IBM in 1987 after 30 years of service. He joined IBM in Lexington, Kentucky, and moved to Round Rock in 1970.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Martha Edmondson; his daughter, Janice Heisch and son-in-law Randy of Georgetown, Texas; grandchildren, Phillip Heisch of Houston, Texas, and Rachel Heisch of Austin, Texas; and his sister-in-law, Margaret Riley and husband Doy of Marion, Kentucky.

He was an avid sportsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

His greatest joys were his family, grandchildren and his friends.
