Norene Edmondson, 99, of Eddyville, died Saturday, June 6, 2009, at 5 p.m. at Christian Care Center in Kuttawa.
A homemaker and member of Suwanee Furnace Baptist Church in Lyon County, she was a daughter of the late Albert G. and Lola Wood Aldridge.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Edmondson; a son, Jimmy “Jim” Edmondson; a daughter, Doris Gray; five brothers, Orbie “Dude” Aldridge, Albert “Dick” Aldridge, Nacy Aldridge, Claude Aldridge and Bill Aldridge; and a sister, Lorene Stinnett.
Survivors include a daughter-in-law, Marie Edmondson of Kuttawa; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a sister, Lillian Hyatt of Paducah; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, June 9, at 11
a.m. at Lakeland Funeral Home Chapel in Eddyville. The Rev. C.C. Brasher will officiate the service.
Burial will follow in Kuttawa Cemetery in Kuttawa.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
