Mrs. Rubena Burd, 95, of Kuttawa, died Monday, April 7, 2008, at 8:05 p.m. at River’s Bend Retirement Community in Kuttawa.
A homemaker, member of Eddyville Church of Christ, she was a daughter of the late Ray and Ora Cunningham Faircloth.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Burd; a daughter, Jane Cothran; a stepson Virgil Burd; and two brothers, Vester Faircloth and Hilton Faircloth.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Lanene and Bobby Burchett of Eddyville, a stepdaughter, Frances Jones of Howell, Mich.; 10 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mary Meyer of Kevil.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, April 10, at 11 a.m. at Lakeland Funeral Home Chapel in Eddyville with Odell Walker officiating.
Burial will follow in Jackson-Starks Cemetery in Marshall County.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
