Jimmy Dale Jones, 55, of Kuttawa and formerly of Henderson, died Monday, March 24, 2008, at 6:30 p.m. at his home.
Formerly employed as a heavy equipment operator for Union Local #851 in Indianapolis, Ind., and member of Mts. Runn Baptist Church in Zionsville, Ind., he was a son of the late Leroy and Ruth Howard Jones.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Nina Poe; and three brothers, Roy Jones, Gary Jones and David Jones.
Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Mary Thurby Jones; four brothers, Robert Jones of Fairview Heights, Ill, Johnny Jones of Lebanon, Ind., Ray Jones of Jamestown, Ind., and Rick Jones of Dunbarton, N. H.; and seven sisters, Wilma Duff of Lebanon, Ind., Nancy Singleton, Diane Fletcher and Susie Nolte, all of Indianapolis, Ind., Kaye Scheffler of Fishers, Ind, Pat Jones of Nashville, Tenn., and Robin Odle of Noblesville, Ind.
Private visitation and services were held Wednesday, March 26, at 1 p.m. at Benton-Glunt Funeral Home in Henderson with the Rev. Ted Yates officiating.
Burial followed in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Henderson.
Lakeland Funeral Home in Eddyville was in charge of local and Henderson arrangements.
