Mrs. Nancy J. Adams, 72, of Kuttawa, died Sunday, March 23, 2008, at 5:40 a.m. at her home.
A retired administrator at Hilltop Nursing Home in Kuttawa, a 50-year-member of Princeton Eastern Star Chapter #315 and member of Kuttawa First Baptist Church, she was a daughter of the late Shelley and Rowena Hayden Dunn.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde H. Adams; two brothers, Shelley Euclid Dunn and Kenneth Dunn; a sister, Maymerose Riley; a half-brother, J.D. Dunn; and a half-sister, Dorothy Boone.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Clyde S. “Bud” and Denise Adams of Kuttawa; three grandchildren, Zack, Alexa and Savannah Adams, all of Kuttawa; and a sister and brother-in-law, Diana and Bill Jones of Kuttawa.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, March 25, at 1 p.m. at Lakeland Funeral Home Chapel in Eddyville.
The Rev. Jim Keegan and the Rev. Carl Nelson will officiate the service for Mrs. Adams.
Burial will follow in New Bethel Cemetery in Lyon County.
An Eastern Star Service was conducted at 7 p.m. Monday, March 24.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure, 5005 LBJ Freeway, Suite 250, Dallas, Texas 75244.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
