Dorothy Mae Crabtree, age 91, of Marion, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at Marion General Hospital.

She was born January 19, 1924 in Vanceburg, Kentucky, to the late Leslie Elmo Tolle and Viola (Yates) Tolle.

The family eventually moved to Marion, Ohio

On November 13, 1945 she married Elmer W. Crabtree and he preceded her in death in 1984. Dorothy was a homemaker and her life was raising and taking care of her family until they were all out on their own.
The family said she was the greatest mom in the world. She was a great cook, loved her flowers, and had a heart of gold.

Dorothy leaves behind two daughters and six sons, Fredia (Roy) Mullins, Loretta Mullins, Bobby (Emma) Crabtree, Billy, Gary, Jim, and Leslie Crabtree, and Jack (Debbie) Crabtree, all of Marion, Ohio.
There are numerous grand, great grand, and great great grandchildren surviving; as well as a sister, Betty (Roy) Teets; and a brother, Donald Tolle, also both of Marion, Ohio.
Numerous nieces and nephews survive also.

Besides her parents and her husband, Dorothy was preceded in death by a sister, Bertha Jones; and a brother, Herbert Tolle.

Funeral Services will be on Wednesday January 28, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in the Grand Prairie Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday January 27, 2015 from 4 to 6 P.M.
