I have as a son of Elias Mackey and Louise Wall a James Mackey born 1800 in NC. Unfortunately when I started genealogy many many years ago I was ignorant of proper documentation; I thought I got that item from the Doughtie book. Really can't say now. I have Alexander's descendants, but there are no Thomas's. Alexander & Sally Golden's children were Elias, William M., John, James G., Lucy, Frances, and a son and daughter.
