Surnames: Engelhardt, Haney, Thompson
Greetings all;

My G-grandmother Catherine (Kate) Engelhardt born 1853 in Cincinnati. Parent's born Germany. Mother and sisters and sometime herself lived in Covington.

According to the 1895 Marriage record in Cincinnati to my G-grandfather Thomas J. Thompson Kate signed her marriage certificate as Mrs. Heany.

I can find no record of a marriage to Kate Engelhardt to a Mr. Haney in Hamilton County, Ohio.

1900 according to the Census record Kate Thompson lists number of children born to her as 6 and 2 living, those two would be my grandfather Josie Thompson b. 1897 and his brother Alfonso born 1898 in Cincinnati.

Are there any marriage records in Kenton county that list a Heany & Engelhardt marriage any records that list the birth and death of her children, what happened to Mr. Haney?

Kate came from a strict Catholic home.

Sometimes Engelhardt was spelled Engelhart on records.

Thanks for any and all information in advance.
