Deceased Name: William ''Buddy'' Jones
56, of Newport, died Jan. 28 at Baptist Convalescent Center, Newport. He was a laborer with Procter & Gamble, Cincinnati, and an Army veteran. His wife, ''Kenny'' Jones, preceded him in death.
Survivors include a son, Mauri Jones of Chicago; a stepson, Chad Brinkley of Newport; and two grandchildren.
Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Feb. 23 at Baptist Convalescent Center, Newport. Cremation will be at Southwest Ohio Crematory in Milford, Ohio. Linnemann Funeral Home, Erlanger, is handling arrangements.
