Billy Douglas Collins, 61, Franklin, OH died July 31, 2009 at Atrium Medical Center in Middletown, OH. Born August 8, 1947 in Paintsville, KY, he was the son of Orville and Rebecca Collins. A former resident of Camden, he owned and operated Collins Drywall for over 31 years, and was an avid builder and gardener. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Matthew Collins; father- and mother-in-law William and Lula May Metcalf; a brother-in-law, William Metcalf; and sister-in-law, Angela Collins.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Bonnie (Metcalf) Collins; daughter Leslie Collins of Eaton, OH; sons, Billy (Misty) Collins, and Lucas (Amber) Collins of Middletown, OH; grandchildren, Joshua Collins, Eaton, Bailey and Molly Collins, Middletown, and Haley Collins and Nathaniel Jones of Middletown. He is also survived by nine brothers, William (Zettia), Hebrew (Annie), Dave, Paul (Katha), Hobert, Timothy, Danny (Cynthia), Calvin (Debbie), and Manuel Collins; brothers- and sisters-in-law, Sam (Cookie) Metcalf, Charlie (Beth) Metcalf, John (Debbie) Metcalf, Anthony (Sheila) Metcalf, Jeff (Sophia) Metcalf, Christopher (Laura) Metcalf, Mark Metcalf, Vernon (Jan) Metcalf, Willia Crase, Bessie (Ralph) Bishop, Joy (David) Rose, Sheila Metcalf, Cynthia (Danny) Collins; aunt, Elwanda Pearson; uncle, Erman (Luverne) Pearson; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral service will be at August 5, 2009 at 10 a.m. at Anderson Funeral Home, Springboro, OH. Visitation was August 4, 2009 from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
