Larry G. Askins, age 61 of Tipp City, OH passed away October 30, 2009 at Upper Valley Medical Center after a brief illness. Born May 20, 1948 in Wilmore, KY to William and Stella (Billings) Holloway. Preceded in death by his parents and one brother Paul Holloway. Survived by his wife Kathy (Cramer) ASKINS, children Cheryl (Tommy) Kettlehake of Vandalia, OH Kelley Davis of Vandalia, Michael W. Davis of Yorkshire, OH, Mica Pearson of Vandalia, and Claude C. (Becky) Jones of Tipp City, OH. Also surviving are siblings Mary Holloway of TN, James Billings of KY, Brenda Holloway and Chelly Hollowayof DAYTON, OH and Kelly (Matt) Newberry of Beavercreek, OH. Larry retired from GM-Inland Division in Vandalia, was a member of the Steel Workers Union, the VFW in Vandalia, Eagles #2201 Tipp City, and was a Big University of Kentucky fan. Funeral services November 4, 2009 2:00 PM at First Baptist Church, Tipp City, burial at Maple Hill Cemetery Tipp City. Visitation November 3, 2009 5:00-8:00 PM at FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME 327 W. Main St. Tipp City, OH 45371. Memorial contribution may be made in Larry's name to the church.
