I am in searching for information on a Thomas H. or P. Smith who was a tailor in 1890, 1900 and 1910 in Louisville, KY. I have found him in the 1890 Louisville City Directory (available on ancestry.com), but have some evidence that he was married on or about 1897 and, based on 1910 census, is divorced by 1910. I have no idea who he married, but would love that information as well.

If anyone has access to Louisville city directories for any of the years 1897, 98 or 99 and can tell me where Thomas Smith lived (a common name, I know), I would be most appreciative. His father was also Thomas P. Smith and lived on E. Green and died in 1900. Thos Smith, Senior was a shoe maker.
