Mary Helen Douglas, 70, of Louisville, passed away Sunday, December 1, 2002. She was retired from General Electric. She was a member of the Mount Eden Baptist Church and the Jolly Elders Club. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Charlotte Brooks. She is survived by her sons, Harold and Glen Douglas; daughter, Sharon Pucci; brothers, Donald & Jerry Coy; sisters, Loretta Carr, Vernell Akers, Lavonia Yaeger, Betty Coy and Neva Yeager; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral services: 11 a.m. Wednesday at W.G. Hardy Funeral Home, 10907 Dixie Hwy. Burial: Mt. Eden Cemetery, Bullitt County. Visitation: noon to 8 p.m. Tuesday. Contributions may go to Amercian Diabetes Association.
