Looking for information regarding my great-great-grandfather-Joseph Hurd.He was born in Kentucky,possibly Jackson County.He married Nancy Ross.They had at least one child-George Washington Hurd-born in Ohio,1858.

The only other thing that I have on Joseph is that he had a brother George who married a Melinda last name unknown a brother Andrew who married a Emily Turner a brother Elijah who married Nancy Davidson and Elizabeth my ggggrandmother who married Elijah Griffee.Does any of this sound familiar to you

Could your ggrandfather's name have been possibly have been spelled Herd? I have a Joseph F.Herd who was the son of William Herd and Rebecca Hudson Herd

My great-grand father was Eligah Griffee and his second wife Minerva Lynch. Any info is much appreciated.

Minerva Adeline Lynch, my great grandmother, was married to Elijah Griffee, my great grandfather. Minerva borned 24 Aug 1869, died 14 Oct 1898. I believe her parents were William D. Lynch and Nancy Catherine Salyers. I also would appreicated any info you have on this line. Elijah and Minerva are in my direct line.
