Durhams and Powells were neighbors in the general vicinity of
Durham Ridge Cemetery with some intermarriage between descendants.
In my wife's line, Martha Frances
Durham married Henry
Rogers. Henry was a descendant of the
Powell line through his grandmother,
Abby Jane
Powell (married to John
Rogers). Henry
Rogers was the child of
Cleveland Rogers (son of John
Rogers and
Abby Jane
Powell) and Mary Lucy
Cox.
