Hello Bev,
I have a
Hewlett Family History published in 1956 by a cousin. Martha
Hewlett was born in 1787 to Martin & Jane Henry Moseley
Hewlett of New Kent Co VA. In 1786 they left Va and moved to
Greene Co SC where my Samuel
Hewlett was born in 1788. In 1790 the Hewletts had arrived in
Muhlenberg Co. KY and by 1800 living in
Hopkins Co. Kentucky. Martin
Hewlett (martha'a father) died in 1816 in
Muhlenberg Co and his Will is found there along with a settlement of his estate. His wife Jane
Hewlett died after August 1831 in
Hopkins Co,
KY and she names all 8 of her children in her will, including a grandson named Allison
Hewlett. My Samuel
Hewlett left Kentucky in 1839 and then moved to
Lawrence County MO where today the Hewletts are known as 1 of the 12 Original Pioneer Families to the area.
There is a Reunion luncheon (bring a covered dish) held on the 3d Sunday in September in Monette, MO.

I don't have any descendants for Martha and would welcome exchanging more with you. I have a little bit on everybody as written by cousin
Hewlett from his 3 year research n 1956.
Cheers,
