I am looking for any information on William Cass WOODWARD (bn. Kentucky, July 1849) and his parents. His father's name was Samuel WOODWARD(Coffee County, Tennessee) and his third wife was Lucinda CARNAHAN(bn. 1806). William Cass WOODWARD married Elizabeth Jane LITTLEPAGE(bn. October 1845)on January 30, 1866 in Hopkins County, Kentucky. She was the daughter of Hu(t)(d)ons E. LITTLEPAGE and Elizabeth Ann BAILEY Any information on these families would be appreciated. I have the following info on her: b. 10 Oct 1805 Christian Co. KY d. 23 Sep 1881 Christian Co. KY m. 18 Nov 1827 to William B. Loving (This could possibly be a first marr.)
daugh. of John Carnahan Jr. and Sarah Bradburne.

My gr gr grandfather was John Mason Carnahan(b.1809) he had a sister Lucinda Carnahan(b.1805) and Sarah Jane Carnahan(b.1814). Their parents were John and Sarah Bradburn. Sarah Jane married Robert Browning 1835. I would like to compare info with you. I'm not sure of the dates I have and I have no death dates for anyone. Thanks. Sarah Harris

John Mason CARNAHAN was my GGG Grandfather. I am a descendant of his son Hiram Evermont CARNAHAN. I have been researching the family tree and may have some additional info for you. I have names and dates and marriages for most of John Mason's offspring. He married Elizabeth "Betsy" Ann CARDWELL, daughter of James R. CARDWELL and Nancy EGBERT, on 27 Oct 1829 and later married Ruth Elizabeth KIMSEY. I have uploaded much of the info onto Ancestry's on-line family tree. Please e-mail me so we can trade info.

I read your message of about 10 years ago in which you mention that your gg mother was Sarah Jane Carnahan who married Robert D. Browning. These are my 3gg parents. I am descendent from their daughter Susan Browning (abt 1834 - 1874) who married George Washington Whitfield in 1858. Do you have any more information about this family?
