Is anyone researching a line with the following names in them? They seem to be related and am trying to find out where the CARPENTER or SULLIVAN line comes in to connect to them. I know there is some connection because these persons were named in an estate settlement and a will in HOPKINS Co., KY . The names are: GIVENS, OAKLEY, HERRON, SISK, FAGAN, RENSHAW, ALMON

Sullivan was married to Mary Ashworth in Hopkins Co., Ky.

Just found your info on Peachye Herron Givens. She is my maternal great grandmother. She was married to James Hunt Givens. Her parents were Ruben and Zerelda (McMullen)Herron. Trying to find more info on the Herron line. Have hit a roadblock. If I can help with anything let me know.

Reuben and Zerelda (McMullen) Herron are my paternal great-great grandparents. They lived and are buried in Dixon KY (Oak Grove Cem.).
Zerelda and Reuben Children: (Don't have the exact dates at hand. Am packed for a move next week.)

I have been to their graves where Reuben, Zerelda, T.David, James W and Duck are buried.

My great grandfather was T.David married Minnie Lee Prow.
They had Raymond M (my grandfther), Wilma F, Minnie, Vivian, Leola, Froy, Mary and Catherine. They were all born in Dixon and all but Leola is buried in the Oak Grove cemetary. Leola (94- my great aunt) still lives in the home her father built. The home Reuben and Zerelda had also still exists.
I have many photos of the family, but NONE of T.David. If anyone has one, please let me know.

I also seek info on Zerelda McMullen. Aunt Leola remembers that she was from Virginia. Please contact me via tudla@aol.com. Also check out HERRIN FAMILY ORIGINS via internet search. It is a document written by family friend J. Gordon Hearin from Clay KY (where I lived as a child and my grandfather owned Herron's Furniture Store). Have found in "Family Trees" section that there is another spelling for our known Zerelda Herron and it is Sarelda McMullin Herron, married to Reuben Laird Herron
