am related.

I am a decendant of Gabriel Lilley. He married Barbara Hill in Henderson Co. Ky. in 1827. I haven't been able to find out who his or her parents are. But I know they were from N.and S. Carolina. Are you possibly Ishmael Lilley's son? I have more info on my family.

Am also related to that Gabriel Lilly. He m Judith Perry in 1706 in amherst Co, VA. In Henderson Co he married a Barbara Hll in 1827. He and Judith Perry had at least 2 children: Gabriel P Lilly b 1803 and John P Lilly b 1798. Both sons died in Henderson Co, KY. I have no proof that the Gabriel Lilly that was Jefferson's overseer is the same Gabriel Lilly that turned up in Henderson Co, KY, but census records make it very likely. He appears in Henderson Co 1820 census and ghe ages fit. Also in Hend Co, in 1830 Gabriel deeds to his son Gabriel a 55 acre tract of land; deed signed by Gabriel Lilly and Barbara Lilly. Any more info???
