I have begun searching a George and Malinda Barnard family found on these census records in AR:
1840 - Big Creek Twp Crawford Co. AR
1850 - Washburn Township, Scott Co. AR
1860 - Revalee Twp. Scott Co. AR
1870 - Tumbleston Twp. Scott Co. AR
1880 - Layfayett Twp, Scott Co AR

On each census from 1850> George lists year of birth to have been about 1811, born in KY. The only census for KY in 1830 that lists a George Barnard was Henderson Co.....

Males: 4 - 15 to 20....1 - 20 to 30......1 - 40 to 50
Females: 2 - 5 to 10.....1 - 10 to 15.....1 - 15 to 20

Would like to prove this is the same George Barnard that is found in AR. On the 1840 census in Big Creek Twp Crawford Co. AR there is also a Caleb Barnard living next door to George. Also would like to get wife, Malinda's maiden name.
She seems to have been having children at a very young age, like around 14.
A daughter of this couple named Isabelle "Belle" Barnard married James Darbin "Darb" Henley around 1870 in AR. Her sister, Peachie Pearly Barnard married the brother of Darb, Lorenzo Dow Henley in 1854 in AR.
Darb and Belle Henley were my mother-in-law's grandparents.
