George Thomas Wood married Elizabeth Helm in Barren County, and they moved to Munfordville. She had at least two children, Henry C. Wood and Thomas John Wood before dying. He 2nd married Amelia Munford. In all, George had 5 children before dying in 1876 in Munfordville. If anyone has the resources, I need to know when Elizabeth Helm Wood died, when George married Amelia Munford, and where they are all buried. Knowing when Elizabeth died and/or when he married Amelia Munford will let me figure out who was the mother of each of the remaining 3 children. I would think that Amelia was a descendant of the family for whom Munfordville was named.

I've been re-reading some VERY OLD posts and came across these re William and Luraney. The question came up, why was he on the 1860 census w/his parents and no wife. William was blind, apparently a medical condition that runs in this family. Would it be possible that they both returned to live with their families if he wasn't able to support her? I also found a William and Mary in Priceville, Hart County in 1870. Although I have him listed as deceased by 1867 I can't find a source for that, is it possibly I have the date wrong?

Hoping this gets to you, it's ONLY been 10 years!

I have a William Bumgardner who married Ruth Rebecca Parrish, Ruth R. Parrish is my gggrandmother Mary's sister. Mary Parrish married Fountain Hill...

Then I show a Ermine M. Bumgardner on a census living with William C. Richardson and Elizabeth (Epperson) Richardson, Ermine M.(Malinda)?? Married Samuel C. Richardson who is a son of William C. and Elizabeth who are my gggrandparents. I think Ermine M. Bumgardner might be Elizabeths sister Mary Epperson's daughter??? haven't worked it out yet. William c. and Elizabeth also have a daughter named Ermine Frances...

I know this is confusing, but hopefully you can work it out with what you have. Good Luck

Bumgardner..Since Ermine is a very unusual name I thought perhaps they maybe related in someway. My grt grandmother also had a sister named Ermine F. All from around Hart Co., KY>

I would be happy to share info with you about the Harpers. This is actually my husband's side of the family, and I haven't worked on it is quite some time, so I will have to go back and see what I've got. My FTM is all on my desktop and I am on my laptop right now. Will get back to you. I do remember Ransom. I have problems with the furthest back generations because I have been given contradictory information and not sure what is right and what is not - probably exactly like you. Hopefully we can help one another and make progress on those generations.

William Geo Wash Butler Sr. is my Great Grandfather and he is Burried in The Butler Cemetery But his death certificate does say the Priddy cemetery which is just up the hill from the Butler Cemetery. I think it may have been called the Priddy cemetery at the time for his sons Pleasant C. is burried there and Jim B. others that say Priddy cemetery.But the only Priddy in the cemetery is Frances Jane wife of William Geo. Washington.They are both in the Lone Star Community between Bonnieville and Upton.

James Robert Heath's father was William Heath, born 1816 who married Catherine Coleman, born 1827.

She was b. abt 1834 to GEORGE COLLIN BOHANNON and MALINDA J. NEVILLE. ELIJAH and ANNIE had 7 children all born in Kentucky:

ELIJAH H. SMITH can be found in the 1870 census with his wife and children. In the 1880 census, only his wife and children remaining at home appear.

Any information regarding ELIJAH H. SMITH's parents would be greatly appreciated.

My great grandfather was Jesse Richardson and his wife was Mary Gaddie and they had a son George J. Richardson who was born in 1870. My grandmother was their daughter, Minnie Lee. Sorry but I don't have anymore info on George, however. I see that you posted this in 2002 so was wondering if you have anymore info on the Richardson family? I do know that Jesse's father's name was John and his mother was Barbara.

I believe you misunderstood me. George and Minnie were brother and sister. Minnie was the last child that Jesse and Mary Elizabeth had. I don't have any information on George except his birth year.
