George Thomas Wood married Elizabeth Helm in Barren County, and they moved to Munfordville. She had at least two children, Henry C. Wood and Thomas John Wood before dying. He 2nd married Amelia Munford. In all, George had 5 children before dying in 1876 in Munfordville. If anyone has the resources, I need to know when Elizabeth Helm Wood died, when George married Amelia Munford, and where they are all buried. Knowing when Elizabeth died and/or when he married Amelia Munford will let me figure out who was the mother of each of the remaining 3 children. I would think that Amelia was a descendant of the family for whom Munfordville was named.
