Still looking for any information on Joseph Shell (born abt. 1847 in Tennessee) married to Rachel Hoskins (born abt. 1829 in Kentucky). In the 1860 Harlan County census they had two children - William (Born 2-4-1857) and Mary Ann (born 1860).

I have been told they were not in the 1850 or 1870 Harlan county census.
