Mr. Luther Lee Huff, son of the late Clarence Huff and Mrs. Dolly Spencer Huff, was born 8 Sept 1902 in Green Co. And departed this life at 3:30 pm Sat. 18 Jul [1987] at the McDowell Skilled Nursing Facility in Greensburg. He was 84 years, 10 months and 11 days of age. He had made a profession of faith in Christ. He was an employee of the Green Co. Rd. Dept. For a number of years and also worked for the State Hwy Dept. He united in marriage to Elsie Edna Kidd on 24 Mar 1924 who preceded him in death on 14 Jan 1983. To this union was born 1 son, Ottis Huff, who preceded his father in death in 1945. Mr. Huff is survived by 1 nephew, Bobby Joe Huff of Rt. 2, Hardyville; 1 aunt, Mrs. Lorine Froedge, Edmonton; 1 great-niece, Penny Dile, Hardyville, along with 1 great-great Niece, Heather Brook Dile, also of Hardyville. He is also survived by 4 brothers-in-law and 1 sister-in-law ; Lemon Kidd, Greensburg; Forrest Kidd, Missouri; Wayne Kidd and Clifton Kidd, both of Louisville and Ada Kidd of Greensburg and a host of other relatives and friends. The remains were at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home where funeral services were conducted at 1 pm Mon. 20 Jul with burial in the Houk Cem. Rev. Claude McCubbin officiated. Pallbearers were Cova Lile. Raymond Asbury, Archie Jones, Jack Jewell, Shirley Kelly and Shelby Patterson.
