Elsie Edna Huff, daughter of the late Dora Kidd and Berdie Houk Kidd was born 9 Feb 1906 in Green Co. and departed this life 14 Jan 1983 at 6:00 am at the Jane Todd Crawford Memorial Hospital in Greensburg, Ky. She was 76 years, 10 months and 14 days of age. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Bethel Cumberland Church at the time of her death. She united in marriage to Luther Huff on 24 Mar 1924. To this union was born 1 son, Mr. Ottis Huff who preceded her in death in 1945. Mrs. Huff is also survived by 2 sisters and 2 brothers: Miss Ada Kidd, Greensburg, Ky; Otha Kidd, Louisville, Ky; Leamon Kidd, Greensburg, Ky; and Mrs. Beulah Atwell, Center, Ky. Also surviving are 3 half-brothers: Forrest Kidd, Mo; Wayne Kidd and Clifton Kidd, both of Louisville, Ky., and a host of other relatives and friends. The remains were at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, where funeral services were conducted Sun. 16 Jan 1983 at 2:00 pm with burial in the Houk Cem. In Metcalfe Co. The Rev. Tom Duncan officiated. Pallbearers were: Huston Hartfield, Hut Altman, Shirley Kelly, Raymond Asbury, Archie Jones and Jack Jewell.
