Edna Helm, 89, of 100 Hodges St., passed away Tues. morning [10 Sept 1985] in Taylor Co. after a long illness. Miss Helm was the daughter of the late William B. Helm and Cordelia Leota Blakeman. She was born 26 Mar 1896 in Green Co. and was a member of the Greensburg Presbyterian Church. She was a graduate of Western Ky. University and taught school in several districts in Ky. Funeral services for Miss Helm will be held Thurs. at 1 pm at the Foster-Jones and Toler Funeral Chapel with visitation beginning any time after 4 pm Wed. Burial will be in the Helm Cem. at Glens Fork in Adair Co. The Foster-Jones and Toler Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Survivors include her cousins: L.C. Taylor and Martha Page Houk, both of Greensburg, Ruben Coomer and Mary Coomer, both of Columbia.
