Henry H. Wells taken by death. Funeral services were held at the Ebenezer Church, the Reverend Claude Squires in charge, for Henry Hardin Wells who died Monday, January 28, [1946] after a long illness of heart disease. Burial was in the Bethlehem Cemetery. He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Francis Moore and Mrs. Eva Bradshaw, both of Greensburg, and Mrs. Tina Bradshaw, Hodgenville; two sons, Clay and Ben Wells, both of Greensburg; three sisters, Mrs. Laura Cox, Greensburg; Mrs. Georgia Horan, Louisville, and Mrs. Nettie Hatcher, Middlesboro, and 12 grandchildren. His wife, Mrs. Eddie Cox Shirrell, preceded him in death. Pallbearers were Halmond Lowe, Eulus Lowe, Edgar Lowe, Everett Paxton, James Wells, and William Wells. Flower girls were Misses Gladys Paxton, Nettie Buckner, and Beulah Kerr.
