Local businessman and public official C.E. Graham, 66, died Sat. at Jane Todd Crawford Memorial Hospital. He was a native of Green Co. and spent most of his adult years as a business man in this area. For many years Graham was a loan company owner and manager, serving in that capacity in Greensburg as well as in Horse Cave and Lawrenceburg. In earlier years he and his father operated Graham Insurance Co. in Greensburg, and he was in military service during WWII. Graham’s most recent appointment as a public official was as 11th Judicial District Trial Commissioner, a position he held at the time of his death. He was formerly Greensburg City Judge Pro-Tempore and then city judge for 16 years. He served 1 term on the city council and during that term also was city clerk. He also served 8 years as Master Commissioner of the Green Co. Circuit Ct. Graham was a member and deacon of the Greensburg Presbyterian Church and a member of Greensburg Masonic Lodge, #54, F&AM.

C.E. Graham, was born in Green Co. 14 Feb 1921, the son of the late Claude Elliott “Jake” Graham and Pearl Thompson Graham. He died 29 Aug [1987] at the Jane Todd Crawford Memorial Hospital. AT the time of hid death he made his home with his wife at 104 S. Depot St., Greensburg. His survivors include his wife, the former Tina Henry, to whom he was united in marriage 7 Jul 1942; 2 sons, C.E. “Snap” Graham, III, Greensburg and Stephen Henry Graham, Dallas, Texas; a grandson, Christopher Graham, Greensburg; a brother, G.D.
