Benton,
Ky., died on Monday, Nov. 26, 2001, in Paducah,
Ky., at Western
Baptist Hospital. Son of Mary
Williams Pace and the late William Carl
Pace, he was born on July 16, 1938 in Memphis, Tenn., and was a member of
Benton First United Methodist Church. Pace was retired from the U.S. Army and Federal Civil
Service in Ft. Knox. He was married to Alyce
Faye Judd on June 20, 1987, who survives. Other survivors include two sons, Stephen
Pace and Michael Pace; one step-son, Tim French of Elizabethtown; one grandson, Jay
Pace of Hodgenville; one sister, Carla Lewis of Memphis, Tenn.; and his mother-in-law, Julia
Judd of Campbellsville. Funeral was at 11 a.m., Thursday, Nov. 29, 2001 at
Cowherd &
Parrott Funeral Home in Greensburg. Burial was in Bethlehem Cemetery. The Rev. Dale
Curry and John
Roberts officiated. Pallbearers were John
