Mr. Billy Ray Kidd of Greensburg, son of Lennie Wright Kidd of Green County and the late Aubrey Kidd, was born on June 30, 1953 in Barren County and departed this life on Monday, June 22, 2009 at the Norton Audobon Hospital in Louisville. He was 55 years, 11 months and 23 days of age. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a handyman. Along with his mother he is survived by three daughters, Susan Janes of Louisville, Amy Chapman of Smith Grove, and Raven Kidd of Louisville; two sisters, Mary Lee Hawthorne of Greensburg and Carolyn Lane of Glasgow; 11 grandchildren, one great-grandchild and a host of other relatives and friends. The funeral services for Mr. Billy Ray Kidd were conducted at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, June 25, 2009 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial that followed at the Kidd Cemetery in Green County. Bro. Lee Warf and Bro. Phillip Trent officiated. The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Family Burial Fund, which can be made at the funeral home.
