Philip Porter and wife, Nancy Brent, left VA about 1804-1809 for Taylorsville, KY Shelby Co. KY & bought land on Brashears Creek. At this death in 1831 the county name had been changed to Spencer Co. KY. If anyone knows anything about Philip, his parents and/or his siblings. I would be so glad to hear from you. Thanks in advance.
