Hello, Kathleen,
Kathy and I appreciate beyond words the research you have done on our behalf. We can't pay it back, but you may like to know how I've "paid it foreward," so to speak. For the past week, I have served at the LDS Family History booth at the Greeley Stampede (a large local rodeao/fair). We had 6 computers set up and helped over 600 people during the 10 days that the fair was open.
You may be amused: today, after helping a direct decendant of Davy Crockett find some Crockett ancestry, we were nearly washed away by a flash storm which tore away the tent and drenched our computers. This valliant lady helped us haul computers into our trailer and unplugged electric connections. She said that if we told the story, we could just mention that we'd been helped by a descendant of that great American Hero, Davy Crockett! So I thought I'd just passs it along to another genealogist.
Again, many thanks,
Xana and Kathy
