SUMMARY of changes to compiled parentage of BOTH SPOUSES: Lucy Childers and her husband Wesley Childers who married 28 Sept 1833 in Grant Co KY: [Formerly before 24 June 2009, Virginia Hanks compiled Wesley Childers as son of Solomon Childers, even though recent research emphasizes that father-Solomon&son-Wesley relationship remains totally unconfirmed by any document. Now Lucy (Childers) Childers) White's death record shows Wesley Childers's wife can no longer be asserted as dtr of Wm H Childers. Yet Grant Co KY Court Bk B: 370 of Nov 1842 shows Wm H. Childers to be Adm of Wesley's estate. Due to that discrepancy, we now remove Wesley as son of Solomon Childers, and compile Wesley as the last unknown-name census boy who was son of Wm. H Childers.]
Mary honditch's evidence does show that Lucy White who died July 1852 on County death records was evidently only child of the 18 march 1814 (Pendleton Co. KY bond date all that is known to us) Abraham Childers marriage to Sarah Morris. NOTE THAT CHANGE IN compiled parentage was announced 25 June 2009 by Virginia C. Hanks, a major source of the compiled Childers lines posted on

Note that Abraham is descended from a line of Childers shown by DNA etc by Childers-Childress Assn, evidently not to be related in North America to most of the other Grant Co. KY Childers lines.
Since Wm H Childers was administrator of Wesley/Westley Childers probate after Nov 1842 in Grant Co. KY, in Grant Co. KY Court Book B: 370 in Nov. 1842.
We infer that Wm H. Childers was father of Wesley Childers, first husband of the above Lucy (Childers) (Childers) White (ca.1815 - 1852). Wesley married Lucy 28 Sep 1833 so usual age for bridegroom makes Forsythe infer he born ca 1816 (mrs Hanks says born 1815-1820, from the census age categories of Wm H Childers' kids.)
