George Bauer, 67, of Crittenden, died Saturday, July 5, 2008 at St. Luke Hospital West in Florence. He was the son of the late Jacob H. and Bernice Weatherington Bauer, Sr. He was preceded in death by brothers, Adrian and Joe Bauer, and sisters, Julia Bare and Mary Bauer. Survivors include his wife, Geneva Cummins Bauer of Crittenden; a brother, Jacob H. Bauer of Brooksville; and sisters, Valera Bray of Foster, Kentucky and Yvonne Hay of Dover, Kentucky. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on July 10 at St. James Catholic Church in Brooksville. Moore and Parker Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
