Iva Louise Baxter, 78, of Crittenden, died Monday, July 7, 2008 at St. Luke Hospital West in Florence. She was a homemaker and member of the Piner Baptist Church. Her husband, Joseph C. "Doughboy" Baxter preceded her in death on November 17, 2007. Survivors include sons, Dennis Ray Baxter of Crittenden and Eddie C. Baxter of Oneida, Tennessee; a daughter, Jo Ann Ferguson of Crittenden; a brother, Burrell Lawrence of Morning View; sisters, Freda McClure of Mount Zion, Thelma Connelly of Crittenden and Brenda Taylor of Taylor Mill; seven grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held July 10 at Eckler-Hudson-McDaniel Funeral Home in Dry Ridge. Burial will be in Hill Crest Cemetery in Dry Ridge.
