Lillian Collier Mason, 92, of Phoenix, Arizona, died Tuesday, July 1, 2008 at the Beautitudes in Phoenix. She was a former resident of Burlington and Latonia. She was also a member of Mason Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Maggie Hedges Collier, as well as her husband, Estel Mason, who died in 1979. The couple had been married 47 years. She was also preceded in death by a son, Glenn Mason, and daughters, Margaret Ann Mason and Valerie Laurene Mason. Survivors include a son, Robert Mason of Burlington; daughters, Velma Schuerman of Alexandria, Brenda Partin of Clairfield, Tennessee, Katherine Jackson of Florence, Patty Mueller of Glendale, Arizona, Pamela Pope of Port St. Lucie, Florida, Thelma Louise Crain of Phoenix and Sharon Travis of Falmouth; a sister, Rachel Adams of Elsmere; thirty-seven grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held July 6 at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home in Williamstown. Burial was in Mason Cemetery.
