Vadis M. Elliott, 94, of Jonesville, died Tuesday, June 24, 2008, at her home. She was a retired school teacher and principal at Jonesville Elementary School. She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church and the Kentucky Retired Teachers Association. Her husband, Chester Elliott, preceded her in death in 1983. Survivors include a son, Eddie Elliott of Jonesville; three grandchilren and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held June 27 at Eckler-Hudson-McDaniel Funeral Home in Dry Ridge. Burial was in the Jonesville IOOF Cemetery.
