Anna Dealtha Franks Blackburn, 93, of Dry Ridge, Kentucky, died August 1, 2002 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South in Edgewood. She was a homemaker and member of Dry Ridge Presbyterian Church. She formerly worked at Franks Grovery in Mt. Zion, the Williamstown Ball Factory and Farmers Bank in Dry Ridge. She started the Parent-Teacher Association and lunchroom at Mt. Zion School. She was preceded in death by husbands, William Barnett Franks in 1970, and John Blackburn in 1989; her parents, Robert and Sadie Martin Rash, and a brother, Roger Rash. Survivors are three daughters, Ruth Workman of Dry Ridge, Juanita Mitchell of Cold Spring and Phyllis Scott of Carrollton; one sister, Roberta Kaylor of Crestview; six grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services were August 4, 2002 at Eckler-Hudson Funeral Home in Dry Ridge. Burial was in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
