Henrietta Asakevich, 80, of Corinth, Kentucky, died March 12, 2002 at Norton Audobon Hospital in Louisville. She was born in Millstone, a daughter of the late Enoch and Sarah McCray. She was a homemaker and a member of Millstone Freewill Baptist Church in Letcher County. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Asakevich in 1991. Survivors are one daughter, Carol Vance of Corinth; one sister, Hattie Bates of Freeport, Florida; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held March 16 at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home in Williamstown. Burial was in Hill Crest Cemetery in Dry Ridge.
