Mr. Lawson,

Regarding your comment:
"Amanda (MOBERLY) TATUM, Samuel Harrison TATUM'S widow, moved to be near her son, Samuel J. TATUM, in Crab Orchard, Lincoln County, Kentucky, and died there in 1907. She is buried next to Samuel J. and his wife, Eliza, in the Crab Orchard Cemetery, on the hill..."

I am pretty sure that the Amanda M TATUM who died in 1907 and is buried in Crab Orchard Cemetery

is Amanda Holman, the daughter of James and Martha (Ramsey) Holman, and the wife of William P. Tatum.

She is buried next to her two children [Mary F (Tatem) Collier and Samuel J Tatem], and her sister-in-law [Claudia L (Carson) Holman].
The distribution of the estate of her son Samuel J Tatem (died Nov 29, 1944 in Lincoln County, Ky) suggests that her husband (William P. Tatum) was the brother of Samuel Harrison TATUM who married Amanda MOBERLY.
