DR. WALTER DOYLE DIES AT 65
Dr. Walter Arnett Doyle, an internationally recognized pediatric dentist and orthodontist, died of cancer Saturday. He was 65.

Dr. Doyle practiced in Lexington for 35 years, after graduating from Emory University in Atlanta and earning a certificate in pediatric dentistry from Indiana University. He served on the dental school faculties at Indiana University, the University of Kentucky, Northwestern University and Boston University.

He also served as chairman and examiner of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, as president of the American Society of Dentistry for Children, and as president of the Southeastern Society of Dentistry for Children.

He is survived by his life partner, Dr. Chris Baker, and her son, Kenny Nusbacher, both of Lexington; three daughters, Shannon Doyle of Maui, Hawaii; Elizabeth Dick of Beverly, Mass.; and Sallie Boulet-Gercourt of Paris, France; a son, Walter Arnett Doyle Jr. of San Francisco; five grandchildren; and a sister, Patricia Doyle Foster of Los Angeles.

A memorial service will be held in Lexington at a later date. W.R. Milward Mortuary - Broadway is in charge of arrangements.
