My ALVEY lines left St Mary's Co, MD following the Revolutionary War but I have been seeking the many descendants of Joseph and Elizabeth Alvey who came to St Mary's Co in 1657 from England. Serveral Alvey's remained near MD in VA and the District of Columbia. Would like to share Alvey information with anyone who has Alvey in their family history. I have a large base of Alvey information and many collateral lines, many in MD, VA, KY, IN, MO and almost all states west. My family moved to KY in the late 1780's and lived in KY until 1950 when we headed for California where I continue the Alvey line.

Henry Alvey and his many children settled in the Owensboro, Daviess Co in the mid 1800's and the phone book today lists many descendant still in the Daviess Co and surrounding area.
