Malinda Goggin (no 's') and Alexander Logan married in 1814 in Cumberland Co., KY. One child was born in Cumberland Co., KY; the remaining children were born in White Co., IL. I have checked the list of children supplied by Don Carter from family Bibles in his possession and included in James E. Bell's book "Mark Twain and 8100 Goggin Kin". I show no child named David, and of course no child is listed as born in 1808. You might try to contact Don Carter and see if he has additional Logan family information.
