Am not directly related to the following families but I've been looking at some Bruce families in Crittenden Co, KY on the census and I believe the following families may be descendants of Littleton Bruce married to Jane Duff in Sumner Co, TN on April 2, 1821. Littleton Bruce died in Sumner County, Tennessee.

Littleton & Jane had the following known children:

Martha Ann Elizabeth Bruce b. abt. 1822
William J. Bruce b. abt. 1827
Littleton Bruce b. abt. 1830

1850 Smith County, Tennessee census:

Martha Ann Elizabeth Bruce married Griffin D. Hodges. They raised their family in Crittenden County, Kentucky. I found some of her descendants listed on Rootsweb World Tree.

I found households for possibly her mother and two brothers in the 1860 Crittenden County, KY census but was unable to display so that I could post in this message.

I found the following census on her possible brothers, Littleton and William J. Bruce in the 1870 and 1880. Their mother Jane (Duff) Bruce is living with possible Littleton in the 1880 census.
