Have an ancestor, Matthew Pettigrew, who moved into Kentucky from So. Carolina and settled in Christian County (now part of Trigg Co.) before 1810. He married Elizabeth McComb circa 1800 whose family was in Henderson, KY., area. Matthew died April 1814 at still a young age.

Where do I find early land records/deeds for Christian County? Do they have probate records/appraisals of estates also. Any help on locating these records appreciated. Sue
