I think George King b. 1803 Henry Co., VA living in Christian Co., KY in the 1850 and 1860 Censuses is the George King who married Mary Wade, dau. of James Ballenger Wade, who died in 1824. Wade died in 1824 leaving a will in which he mentioned Mary King had no children. I think Mary King b. 1825 living with George King in the 1850 Census was his daughter, Mary, b. 1825, and several children including a 5 month old baby. I think Mary Wade King died in 1849 probably in childbirth. My ancestor was George Wade King b. abt 1846 who was there in the 1850 Census and not in the 1860 Census nor was his older brother, John King. George Wade King would have been about 14 in 1860 and John would have been about 30. My GWK always said he lived along the Pee Dee River in NC growing up and went to Lauderdale Co., MS with the Hobgood family.

I would love to hear from anyone interested in these people? I also would love to see the names of the Kings buried in Christian Co.,KY esp. at McKnight and King Cemeteries.
