My husband's gg grandfather was Jesse D. Rascoe, who moved to Van Zandt County, TX. We would like more information regarding this family line. Jesse was born abt 1808 in South Carolina, he married Amanda "Manda". They lived awhile in Alabama before moving to Texas. We are interested in Jesse's parents.

Also, what was the correct spelling of the last name? Is it Rascoe or Rasco??? My husband did his DNA testing through FAmily Tree DNA and they said his family line comes from England.
