Are you still looking for information on Obediah?? I have that his parents were John Parker and Abba LNU. john was born 1765 in south carolina and died in Christian co., Kentucky. Abba was born in south carolina and died before 1830 in Christian co. Obediah and Mary married in 1820 in Christian co., Kentucky. Obediah died 4 sept 1866 in Christian, Kentucky. Burial unknown at this time. Am still searching for that. Do not know about Mary Polly. Please let me hear from you.

Obediah Parker married Mary "Polly" Thornberry, d/o Lewis & Elizabeth Armstrong Thornberry. Elizabeth was d/o Matthew & Jane Armstorng. Mary b. 1/6/1802 Greenville Co., SC and d. 9/4/1866 in Christian Co., buried in Old Liberty Cemetery.
Christian Co. Will Book G p. 375 dated Feb. term 1831 Benjamin Armstrong vs heirs of Matthew Armstrong, dec'd. (list of heirs......David Thornberry, Matthew Thornberry, Andrew Thornberry, Obediah Park(er) and Polly his wife, heirs of Lewis Thornberry and Elizabeth his wife late Elizabeth Armstrong.....

In Matthew Armstrong estate settlement it states Lewis Thornberry not inhatitant of Kentucky in 1831.

Christian Co. Order Book M p. 306 dated July 23, 1826 in suit Benj. Armstrong vs heirs of Matthew Armstrong it states that Matthew & Lewis Thornberry failed to appear in court.

In Chr. Co. Order Book F p. 351 Jan. 3, 1825 A orphan Betsey Redd, 8 years old, d/o Dudley Redd was bound to Lewis Thornberry, to learn the trade of house keeper.

It looks like Lewis Thornberry disappears from Christian Co. between Jan. 3, 1825 and July 23, 1826.
