I am looking for information about John Riley KNIGHT who was married to Thankful W. BROWDER. I know they lived for some time in Christian County, because some of their children were born there. John Riley KNIGHT was born around 1862, and died around 1940. Thankful BROWDER was born in Hopkins Co in 1866. Their children were Ruby (male), Goldie (female), Eva, Jack, Julia, Robert Monroe, William Highland, and Martha J. I know Ruby Knight married Mattie Kinnett; Goldie Knight married Zelmer Long; Jack Knight married Alma Beatrice Adkins in Vanderburgh Co, IN; William Knight married Carrie Scott. Jack Knight told his grand-children he was 1/4 Indian. I would like to know if this was true, so would appreciate any information or clues. Thanks!
