Howdy from Texas to my long lost cousins. I descend from William's brother, Samuel Shaw, born 1755. If it helps any, Hance had 4 sons - William, Finley, James and Samuel. Most of my family stayed in North Carolina and then migrated to Texas shortly after the Civil War. Would love to connect with yall. I am trying to research further back and all I have found so far is Hance's father's name was Early S. Shaw, born in Scotland in 1698, then I hit a road block. If anyone can help in any way, that would be awesome.
